Working Together for a Better Community

The Schoolcraft Improvement Association is a neighborhood organization located on the west side of Detroit. About 300 homes are served by the organization. The SIA strives to encourage and promote neighborhood participation of its residents for the maintenance, improvement, and  sustainability of the neighborhood from block to block.

About Us

The Schoolcraft Improvement Association, Inc. (SIA), was organized in 1992. A small group of residents from surrounding local block clubs in the community decided to expand beyond their individual streets and join together. The SIA was incorporated by the State of Michigan on July 22, 1992.
