Michael Banks attended Northern High School and played football, basketball, and baseball. Mike graduated from Northern High School and received a football scholarship to Howard University where he became an All-American Quarterback. He was also nominated to the Black Collegiate All-Star Baseball Team while at Howard and was inducted into the College Football’s Hall of Fame in 1996.

 

Michael Banks is an Educator, teaching over 25 years in the Detroit Public Schools and Old Redford Academy School Districts. Mike is the brother of Ron Banks, Lead Singer of the Legendary R&B Group “The Dramatics”. Michael is married to his High School sweetheart, Barbara, and together they have 5 kids.
